Harriet Phillimore – Performance/Arts Teacher
England born and educated, Harriet has been teaching in Paris for nearly a decade. With a background initially in film production, she trained and worked in primary education. Later she moved to Paris and setting up her own private tutoring business, Phillimore Tutors. Harriet found her way back to the arts world when she started teaching LAMDA drama exams several years ago. Now a qualified LAMDA teacher, she is excited to be partnering with Georgia and to be able to bring their fields of expertise together in the Musical Theatre classes.
Harriet holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Primary Education, and a LAMDA Teacher’s Certificate in Performance.
Georgia Gray – Singing Teacher
A native New Zealander, Georgia is the voice teacher at Georgia Gray Voice Studio, which she started in Paris in 2017. Georgia is a trained classical singer with broad experience across a wide range of musical styles. She has developed a strong method in vocal technique that can be applied across all musical styles. Georgia is looking forward to working with Harriet to teach these Musical Theatre classes. She loves teaching young voices to shine through fun activities and games.
Georgia holds a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice Performance, a Bachelor of Arts in French. If you’d like to read more about her, please go here.
Quality Children’s Programme
Harriet and Georgia both believe strongly in providing a quality education for their students. Therefore, classes will be small, with a maximum number of 10 children each. Each week’s class will be clearly structured, building on the previous weeks’ work. We will select songs and texts to work on that are appropriate for each class, while fun games and activities will teach the more abstract technical skills.
Harriet and Georgia are both native English speakers, so classes will be taught in full English immersion. As a result, this will be an excellent opportunity for your child to improve and become more confident in their English skills.
